Columbus HUD Homes

At the beginning of this week (7/6/09) 2 Powell HUD homes were available for all bidders. One of the 2, the listing on 191 W Hiawatha Dr, went into contract today for only $145,509 with a Net to HUD for $137,009 – that is less than 70% of list price!
 
Now we are talking! Why not try the same for the HUD home at 6360 Mohican Drive in Powell which is also available for all bidders. It’s still too expensive as listed, but how about $140,000?
 
On the other end of the price spectrum we find the Brice Park condo in Canal Winchester. I know they had their share of HUD properties in that complex. They usually sell for around $40,000.
 
The Brice Park HUD condo on the boomerang list is only $30,800!!
Too good to be true? Wait till you see the inside – there’s black MOLD in the entire lower level (kitchen and living room). One more reason to never buy a property sight unseen!
