I was shocked. When I checked new HUD home listings this morning I could not find anything new. There were only 35 properties available in Central Ohio and most of them had a bid deadline of Sunday (4/26) for owner occupants.
I tried to contact HUD to no avail. Finally, at 1 pm this afternoon the listings were updated. What a relief – I was afraid you won’t have any new homes to look at this weekend.
The good news is that HUD added 26 new Columbus houses, most of them in the suburbs. There is a really nice HUD listing in Powell across from the O’Shaughnessy Reservoir, available for $224,000. You may want to check it out, if you are looking for a bigger home.
I am sure you will easily find it on today’s Columbus HUD Homes Map. Enter your email in the box to the right and you will receive fresh Columbus HUD Homes maps every Friday morning, right after they have been published by HUD.
