This HUD house in Bexley breaks an old record. We did not see any HUD listings above $200,000 for one and a half years. The average price of Columbus HUD homes is usually between $70K and $80K – so this one’s a real exception.
The Bexley HUD house is located on 173 North Ardmore Road. That’s a block north of East Broad Street. It’s a Tudor style home with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It probably will need repairs and upgrades. I will preview the home in my next blog post.
Tax Credit Update

This weekend you need to focus on relists with a bidding deadline of next Tuesday and on last week’s new HUD listings (deadline Sunday). If you make an offer on today’s new listings, you will probably miss the deadline, because you won’t get a HUD ratified contract by April 30, 2010.
When you open the Columbus HUD homes map, look at the yellow and blue markers. That’s a selection of 72 HUD houses. Plus, you can submit an offer on any HUD home available to all bidders, which are the green markers on the map.
